👤 1. Create a Web3 Wallet

• We recommend MetaMask, Trust Wallet, or WalletConnect-compatible wallets.

• Store your private key securely — this is your access to data ownership.

🧭 2. Access the DataShield App

• Visit our official app interface (app.datashield.io)

• Connect your wallet to authenticate

📂 3. Upload & Encrypt Your Data

• Select files to upload

• Choose encryption level (standard / ZKP-enabled)

• Data is automatically fragmented and distributed to nodes

🔐 4. Set Access Permissions

• Define who can access, edit, or recover the file

• Share permissions via blockchain-verified smart contracts

💾 5. Recover or Verify Anytime

• Trigger data recovery via dashboard or dApp interface

• Verify file hash & audit logs directly on-chain

⚙️ 6. Become a Node Operator (Advanced)

• Deploy a storage or validator node using our node CLI

• Stake SHIELD tokens to qualify for data handling

• Earn rewards based on uptime, performance, and integrity checks
